Twenty years in a bay, before there was a classroom
Roberta Rodriguez — "Your Tint Girl" — opened her own window tinting shop in 2002. Everything taught here comes out of two decades of actually running a shop, not a curriculum written by someone who never had to make payroll off of tinted glass.
The assumption she started against
This trade has long assumed it is a man's trade. It isn't. Success in this trade isn't limited by gender — both women and men can excel equally, and this academy is built as a welcoming space for both.
Tinter Battles, 2023
In 2023, Roberta became the first female trainer in Tinter Battles history — a real, named milestone in a competitive corner of this industry that had not seen one before.
